Introduction

The three videos below cover everything you need to know to get proSign working in your solution. The first one under “How it Works” takes you through the basics of how proSign actually does its thing. It covers how the signature data is captured and how it is displayed. The second one, “Installation”, takes a look at what happens during the installation process. proSign includes and installer that can be setup to tun automatically, if necessary, when your solution starts. The final video, “Integration”, covers how to get hook up the installer and initialization script so that proSign is ready to go when your solution starts up.

How it Works

The demo file has two examples that show exactly how to GoSIgn for desktop works, and one option for how you might integrate it into your solution.  This video walks you through those examples.

Installation

The demo file includes completely automated installer. When the file is a launched the installer runs if necessary and installs any required plugins.. This same baehavior can be wired into your solution by simply calling one script in the demo file. Or if you choose you can copy the script and the code into your own file in a couple if minutes.

Integration

You will need to run one script when your solutions starts up. If you don’t mind having an extra file in your file set, you can simply call the script “INITIALIZE AND CLOSE” in the demo file as part of your normal solution start up. This script will do everything necessary to setup proSign, including running the installer if necessary, and then close itself. This method works quite well and makes it easy to upgrade should a new version of proSign Come out.

If you would rather move the code into your own solution that is pretty simple too. All you have to do is Import the table “Reactor Resources” into your solution, and then, import the Script Folder “Import Into Your Solution”

This screen cast covers both options
